Superbowl weekend!
We haven’t updated in a while, but we’ve been legitimately busy! Last weekend, Tobin’s grandparents, Grandpa Tom and Grandma Norma Jean, came down to visit, and we had a great time with them! We played cards (Gpa Tom and I smoked Tobin and Gma Norma Jean in Euchre…but kings in the corner and golf were a different story!), watched Casino Royale, went to church together, and visited the Naval Aviation Museum and the beach. It was a full weekend, we had a great time, and we have no pictures of it! Well, we do, but they are on Grandma Norma Jean’s camera. Well, I do have a couple pictures of Tobin from my phone, so that will have to do!
The first is Tobin ready for work! And the second is at the end of our beach visit with the grandparents. It was a little cold, all we did was get our feet wet!
Tobin started API on Friday. It was an inspection day followed by briefings, and he will actually start classes on Monday. Of course, he also has to be there early for a PT test. (physical something…training?) He was told he would be doing a lot of swimming for API. Yikes! I’m glad he’s a better swimmer than I am.
And an announcement…our puppy was born yesterday (Friday the 30th of January), and in 8 weeks or so we will be going to pick him up! There were three males and two females, so we will go visit in a few weeks to pick out our male. If anyone has any pet crates or odds and ends they would like to sell us, let me know! We’re in the market now.
We’re also working on selling the Prizm. We’ve had several interested calls, we’ll see how that goes.
And Superbowl is tomorrow! I have to pay attention to more than just the commercials, the guys at work will expect me to know the score. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Dang! I just typed a super long reply and this stupid computer nuked it. Dang!
Anyway, glad for the puppy being born, I even said, “Awwww.” But, I am glad it is you and not me.
We are going to Chris & Mary Peres’ house for Superbowl Sunday. They have a 52″ t.v. We watched the superbowl two years ago at their house. Fun times.
I can’t remember what else I wrote, so this will have to do. Have a “SUPER” weekend, tee-hee.

Thanks for the update. I imagine that the only thing you need to know about the score is Pittsburgh – a whole bunch and Arizona – not much. It is also a pretty safe bet you can say, “Did you see that hit Polamalu put on Fitzgerald / Hightower / Boldin / Breaston / James (take your pick)?” And they will reply, “Oh, that was awesome!” Use these in case you don’t actually see / pay attention to the game.

Congrats on the puppy!
And don’t forget to mention the 100-yard touchdown in your SuperBowl discussions. UNbelievable!

The super bowl was great this year! Dan was so crazy! He wanted the Cardinals to win so bad. I had to wear a play batters helmet that was supposed to be giving the Cardinals “good luck” the whoel second half. It almost seemed to be working…
Yay for the puppy! Dan and I found the best deals on crates at Walmart. You can get a large one for $40-50ish. You will easily pay double that at any pet store. Shop Craigslist too…you never know what you can find. Oh and grooming, spluge right away for a Furminator. It’s an investment, but you might be able to find it on sale soemwhere. No other brush compares, and you will be waisting your money to buy anything else.
Love you!

I put up that comment trying to prove how much I know and Polamalu was just about invisible. Great game, though. Lacey is right about the 100-yard touch down. The winning catch was sweet and Larry Fitzgerald is just amazing.

Yeah, the Fitzgerald play in the endzone reminded me of Luke’s “Bubbles” play. Hehe…
